Humane Acne Wash

Humane Acne Wash

Formulated with 10% benzoyl peroxide, this potent cleansing treatment targets the two primary causes of acne: bacteria growth and excessive oil production. A mild topical antibiotic, the active ingredient delivers oxygen into the pores, creating an inhospitable environment for breakout-causing P. acnes bacteria to thrive. It also strips away the excess oil that blocks pores, preventing future flare-ups.

How to use

Once or twice daily, apply an even layer of Humane Acne Wash to damp skin and gently massage into the affected area. Let solution sit on skin for 1 minute initially, and gradually increase to 3-5 minutes if you aren’t seeing results. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Follow with an oil-free moisturizer or broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen if going outdoors.

  • Humane Acne Wash is not for sensitive skin. If you’re not sure how your skin will react, we recommend testing one or two small, affected areas for three days.
  • Additional acne, irritation/redness and dryness are common early side effects of benzoyl peroxide. If excessive flaking or peeling occurs, reduce frequency of application and/or the time product stays on skin before rinsing.
  • Benzoyl peroxide may bleach towels, bathmats and clothing. Avoid letting the solution come in contact with these materials during application, and wash hands thoroughly after using.
